THE people of Rossendale nurtured their creative sides over the weekend in a hedgerow handicrafts workshop.
Organised by Groundwork Rossendale, the activities included looking closely in hedgerows and gardens to find materials that could be used creatively.
Visitors to the Groundwork Countryside Centre, in New Hall Hey Road, then used the items they had found, such as leaves and twigs, to make a make either a basket or container with a rustic charm.
