A MAN threatened staff and patients during a noisy outburst at Queens Park Hospital in Blackburn.
The town's magistrates heard that Thomas Patrick Mitchelmore had a kitchen knife and a pair of scissors on him. Mitchelmore, 37, of Laxey Road, Blackburn, was remanded in custody for the preparation of pre-sentence and psychiatric reports after pleading guilty to affray and two counts of possessing an offensive weapon.
Brent Patterson, defending, said Mitchelmore had gone to hospital believing he would be safe there from threats made against him.
