BRIGHT sparks celebrated their success at Queen's Park High School, Blackburn, at the end of their eight-week science course.
Twenty eight children from the high school's year seven and the feeder primary schools' year six took part in the weekly 'Bright Sparks' after-school club, which began last November.
Science teacher Anne Haworth, said: "The course helps the transition between primary and secondary and shows that learning can be fun."
The children received certificates at a presentation evening with their parents at Queen's Park High School on Thursday.
