SECURITY-CONSCIOUS residents took their property to be postcode-stamped by police.
Bikes, tools, valuables and household goods were all marked in the session, at Mercer House, Clayton-le-Moors.

Picture shows nine-year-old Matthew Booth having his bike coded by community safety officer PC Don Chapman and PC Sue Blackledge.
