VISITORS to Burnley's Thompson Park yesterday were given hands-on experience of building a bird box.
The event, planned by the Parks Rangers Service, was organised to coincide with National Bird Box Week. Members of the public were given tips not only on how to build the boxes, but also on which types of birds live in them.
Ranger Steve Richards is seen giving a few tips to Verity Scott, nine.
