MORE than 300 people enjoyed an evening of entertainment in aid of a local charity.
The event at the Fence Gate Inn, Fence, on Saturday raised £2,350 for Hospice Care for Burnley and Pendle.
It was organised by friends Kath Simpson and Miriam Shorrock. Mrs Simpson said: "We did one last year as a one-off to see how it would go and it was such a success we decided to have another go this year. Miriam is a volunteer worker at the hospice and we wanted to benefit a local charity so we decided it should help the hospice."
The evening included a cabaret, disco and supper.
