A MAN found with rolled up pieces of tin foil told police they were "just Kit Kat wrappers."
Burnley magistrates heard how Nasir Iqbal, 23, launched himself towards an officer as he tried to unwrap the foil.
Iqbal, of Brougham Street, Burnley, was ordered to pay a total of £250 in fines and costs, after admitting possessing heroin and obstructing a police officer.
Claire Fanning, prosecuting, said Iqbal had been seen behaving suspiciously by a police inspector and a sergeant. He handed a rolled up piece of foil to one officer. He was arrested.
Graeme Tindall, defending, said there was no indication of how much heroin was involved. Iqbal had obstructed the officer in a moment of panic. No injury was sustained by the officer.
