PUPILS at St Paul's School in Hoddlesden showed true Christmas spirit when they donated the money they would have spent on greetings cards to homeless young people.
Each youngster sent just one card to each class and the £100 saved was handed over the the homeless charity Nightsafe for their Darwen project.
From the left are pupils Ben Armer, nine, and ten-year-olds Jonathan Taylor, Hannah Scott and Sarah Adcroft, presenting the cash to Linda Sharratt from Nightsafe.
