TOTS from Abacus Nursery School celebrated the Chinese New Year with the famous Lion Dance.
They made their own lion and soon picked up the routine after tuition from members of Darwen School of Kung Fu. And club member Ray Heeks brought along a slightly larger version which he demonstrated with youngsters.
Alison Barber, of Abacus said: "The children thought it was great fun. Although we don't have any members of the Chinese community at the nursery at the moment we celebrate all the national festivals as part of the children's multi-cultural education."
