baby Ellis Mary, the stilllborn baby of a family friend.
Avondale Primary School pupil Devon tackled the 64 lengths in just one hour and 10 minutes at the QEGS swimming pool on Sunday morning, where her mum runs the Alex and Corinne Swim School.
Her mum, Alex, said: "I had a baby nine months ago and a year ago my friend carried a baby full-term who was stillborn, so that is why Devon decided to do her swim for Tommy's Campaign, which raises money for research into stillborn and premature babies and miscarriages.
"She has been in training for a year and, hopefully, she has raised more than £200 for the charity."
