CHILDREN at a Pendle primary school found out 'It's good to talk' when they took part in a nationwide scheme to improve youngsters' communications skills.
Visitors to Sacred Heart RC Primary School, in Red Lane, Colne, led a drama presentation for the whole school and a workshop for 10 and 11 year old pupils on the subject of communicating in different ways.
The visit was part of the BT Future Talk project to boost communication skills among children, not just down the telephone line, but a whole range of ways from speaking to using the internet.
