YOUNG people are invited to express their hopes and dreams for the future in a competition sponsored by the Christian organisation, Churches Together in Lancashire.
"Messages for the Millennium" are invited from two age groups, five to 10 and 11 to 16.
The winners will be invited to read their entries to the thousands assembled at a gathering called That's the Spirit at Preston North End's stadium in Deepdale, Preston, on Pentecost Sunday, June 11.
Entries should not exceed 100 words, and should include the entrant's age, address and school. They should be e-mailed to: "PETERKNOWLES@holysouls.freeserve.co. uk" by Easter Sunday, April 23.
