A 4x4 ISUZU Trooper was knocked on its side in a collision at a road junction at 6.05pm yesterday.
Police said a Citroen AX driven by Aisha Shaukat, 21, of Bird Street, Brierfield, was in collision with the Isuzu at the junction of Netherfield Road and Bracewell Street, Nelson.
She was taken to Burnley General Hospital with a bruised chest. Isuzu driver Michael Clough, 43, of Birchenlee Lane, Colne, escaped with a cut to his hand.
