STACEY Houldsworth was hoping to step up her bid for an Olympic spot on three fronts at the World Cup in Italy today.

The Great Harwood-based swimmer is set to compete for Britain in the 200, 400 and 800 metres freestyle events.

Houldsworth won bronze at a World Cup event in Berlin at the weekend and another finish among the medals will help her bid for a place in Australia.
