CONGRATULATIONS to Darwen Library Theatre on a brilliant first night production from the Reduced Shakespeare Company.
The theatre, newly refurbished, is well worth a visit and I hope Darwen and Blackburn people will support it in the coming months and years to make it a popular venue for the theatre-going people in the area.
Just one comment though - I think the productions need advertising more widely if audiences from a wider area are to be attracted. Would it be possible, in the Lancashire Evening Telegraph's weekly listings for King George's Hall and Blakeys for events at the Library Theatre to also be given a mention?
G COLLING (Mrs), Knowlesly Road, Darwen.
FOOTNOTE: Darwen Library Theatre events are listed in our free What's On column - the other listings are paid-for advertisements, the contents of which are a matter for the council - Editor.
