A STRAY dog which had been wandering the streets for more than four months has found a new loving home.
Jackie Dyer (pictured), 36, of Tintern Crescent, Little Harwood, took the mongrel in after it was caught by a dog warden.
She has named her Sadie and is delighted to have her after her pet Jack Russell died before Christmas last year.
Sadie had been seen running loose in Copy Nook, Blackburn, for many months and people had been concerned for her welfare.
Jackie said: "I'd like to thank everybody for feeding Sadie while she was stray. She's really settled in to her new home.
"She's been very friendly with people and other dogs and she's just brilliant."
