A FLAT tenant who annoyed his neighbours with loud music was told by a magistrate he had been a "wretched nuisance."
Bernard Rothwell said the court did not want a repeat of Derek Robertson's behaviour and bound him over in the sum of £50, for 12 months.
Burnley magistrates heard police were called three times to Robertson's home on Calder Close, Nelson. Robertson, 27, admitted he had been playing music at full volume and banging on the ceiling. He threatened neighbours and ended up arrested.
Trevor Grice, defending, said Robertson was a diabetic and receiving medication. He shouldn't drink, but did. He apologised for his behaviour.
