PUPILS from Westholme School, Blackburn, presented a cheque for £300 to Breakthrough Breast Cancer charity.
Year 11 pupils Laura Farmer, 15, Charlene Biggins, 15, Lucy Schofield , 16, and Naomi Cartmell, 16, held a non-uniform day and dressed as 'naughty schoolgirls' and fairies, collecting the money in sponsorship.
Thanking the girls for their hard work, Ruth Loft, Breakthrough volunteer, said: "Looking back in my accounts, the name Westholme has kept appearing, as over the years your students have been involved in many ventures for us.
"In your lifetime, Breakthrough has developed into a major breast cancer research charity."
Ruth is pictured flourishing the cheque for £300 presented by pupils, during a ceremony at the school, with the day's organisers at the front (from left), Laura Farmer, Charlene Biggins, Lucy Schofield and Naomi Cartmell.
