A TEENAGER went back to his old school armed with a spanner after his younger brother had been involved in a fight.
Blackburn magistrates heard that three teachers had to intervene to stop Shafiq Hussain and three others carrying out any act of revenge at Queen's Park School.
Hussain, 18, of Sussex Drive, Blackburn, and Ghanzanfar Nawaz, 18, of Queen's Park Road, Blackburn, both pleaded guilty to using threatening behaviour and Hussain also pleaded guilty to possessing an offensive weapon, the spanner.
They were both ordered to do 65 hours community service and pay £75 costs.
Phillip Potter, prosecuting, said Hussain and Nawaz were former pupils at Queen's Park and were recognised when they entered the school with two other youths.
Earlier the same say Hussain's younger brother had been in a fight and Hussain had gone there with his companions intent on resolving the situation.
Julian Peers, defending, said it had been an unpleasant situation but had not escalated into anything more serious.
