A NETBALL club from Warton is becoming the top breeding ground for Lancashire's finest players.
BAE Systems Warton Sports and Social Netball Club, also known as the Tornados, has had six of its players selected for the U18 and senior Lancashire netball squads.
The club has never been in better shape. Under the guidance of Tara Hunter, herself a Lancashire and North West squad player, the Tornados has a squad of more than 20 players in four teams, each of which are competing in their respective divisions in Fylde and Leyland.
Pictured in the centre are: Paula McMutrie, Tara Hunter, Linda Bell and Joanne Smith, who all made it into the senior squad.
Louise McMutrie also made it into the squad and Rachel Cornthwaite was selected for the U18s.
