DES BARR took top honours in Atherton Photographic Society's monthly competition.
He won the advanced prints section and took the slides with a maximum 40 points for his four entries - the first time this has happened in the society's 60 year history.
Other winners were David Southern in the novice prints and Rene Ashton in the novice slides.
Jenny Wetton's talk was postponed last week due to illness, so club chairman Len Hudson stepped in with a talk/slide show on the 'Development of Photography'.
This week is president's evening when Bert Ogden will give an illustrated talk.
