A MEETING has been called to help children having difficulties at school.
The Wigan and District Dyslexia Association wants to consult with anyone who has concerns about the provision available for children with specific learning disabilities eg dyslexia, dyspraxia, ADD, hyperactivity, afasia etc.
As part of the group's project to train teachers in multi-sensory teaching methods, Caroline Tomlinson, a care and development worker will compile a report for submission to statutory bodies.
The meeting is in Ince Community Centre on March 6 from 7-9pm. For further information ring Shirley Longley on 01942 201643 (evenings).
