PARENTS of youngsters at a Burnley nursery school dug deep into their pockets to help a local charity.
A total of £70 was raised from a collection during a Christmas concert at Rosehill Nursery, Rosewood Avenue. The money was presented to Kaye Bartle, fund-raising assistant for Hospice Care for Burnley and Pendle, when she visited the school yesterday. "It's wonderful to see the message of the hospice being extended to such a young audience," she said.
"We're extremely grateful to everyone at Rosehill Nursery for their donation to the hospice."
