LANCASHIRE Trophy visitors Blackpool caused some problems to a Park side which included several players who have occupied the replacements bench for most of the season.
It was not until Park brought on their 'big guns' with 20 minutes to go that the issue was settled. Blackpool had at this time come within three points and with West Park's penchant for giving away penalties.
Park had introduced Rob Singleton for his first full game of the season and he obliged with some excellent finishing starting with opening try after five minutes and the last two tries to complete a hat-trick.
A Singleton run also brought Neil Ryan a try and the fly-half's combination with new partner Chris O'Toole was at the heart of most of Park's attacking moves which also brought tries for Phil Houlton and Paul Bailey. Blackpool who gave everything they had scored tries through winger Chris Nicholls and prop Gary Hunt and showed why they are promotion contenders for North West Three.
This Saturday West Park face a difficult task at Penrith.
