GARSWOOD United suffered a cruel defeat against runaway league leaders Barnton. The only goal of the game came from a deflection in the closing stages.
Meanwhile, the Reserves clinched a semi-final berth after an extra-time battle against Cheadle Heath.
Garswood's scorers in the 4-2 triumph were Alan Norburn (3) and Steve Starr.
John Dagnall impressed throughout.
The ladies' teams eagerly awaited WFA Cup tie against Doncaster Belles was postponed on Sunday and it is hoped to play it this Sunday (1pm).
