TALIA Lewis is set to become a household name after being chosen to appear in a major TV ad to launch a massive North West leisure 'dome'.
The face of eight-year-old Talia (pictured), from Gin Pit Village, Astley, will also appear on huge publicity road-side advertisements to promote the £14 million attraction, The World of Glass.
Excited Talia, a pupil at St George's Central, Tyldesley, will shoot the commercial on February 23 - hitting our TV screens in early March.
She was chosen by Sentralscreen Productions out of hundreds of entries from across the North West.
Rachael West, the attraction's Marketing Director, said; "Talia just stood out. She was just so natural and relaxed on camera." The star-in-the-making will appear alongside two other children to front the huge launch of the centre.
The World of Glass opens on March 16 and is built on a nine acre site in Merseyside and will be a showcase for the story of glass featuring priceless exhibits such as Victorian glass furnace tunnels, interactive displays, museum and story theatre.
Talia's mum Ayshea said: " We are all really excited by this - but we didn't expect it.
"Talia has never done any acting before. She was a baby model for Index and Argos but that is all.
"We didn't think she had done all that well in the auditions. But looking back on the test film, she seemed so natural.
"She pretty timid as a rule and I was not sure how she would take it.
"But she passed through the auditions really well even though she was a little bit frightened."
