A PLUCKY postmaster defied an armed raider who fled empty-handed after being refused cash.
The raider walked into the post office in Moss Bank Road, Moss Bank at about 5.30pm on Wednesday, February 2 and pointed a gun at the postmaster, demanding money.
The brave postmaster refused to hand over any money and dropped to the floor while the would-be robber ran out of the building empty-handed and without firing the weapon.
The raider is described as white, aged between 25 and 40 years and about 5ft 8in tall. He was wearing a green-and-brown checked car coat with a weaved pattern on it.
