A SIX-year-old boy couldn't believe his eyes when a total stranger walked into the family's home through the open back door, took his mum's handbag and calmly walked out again!
The brazen thief entered the house in Ainsworth Road, Dentons Green, at about 6.30pm on Thursday, February 2.
The boy's mother was upstairs at the time and when the man spotted the youngster he said: "Excuse me, I've come to get your mum's bag."
He then walked through the house, picked up the handbag and walked out.
The thief is described as white, 5ft 8in to 5ft 10in tall, and he was wearing a grey anorak-type coat with the hood pulled up over his face.
