A 12-year-old boy is among two thugs being hunted by detectives after an insurance salesman was robbed of nearly £170 at knifepoint on Bury's "Dicky Bird" estate.
The 56-year-old was attacked by two men in Thrush Drive on Friday evening (Feb 4).
One produced a knife and held it to the victim's throat before demanding his wallet containing the cash.
Both robbers made off on foot and the victim escaped unhurt.
Detectives in Bury are investigating the 7.15pm robbery and have released descriptions of both offenders. One is a white male, 17-18 years, slim, and wearing a dark woolly hat, a maroon sports jacket and white trainers.
His accomplice was also white, approximately 12 years of age and slim. He wore a dark woolly hat and a light-coloured sports jacket. Both had local accents.
