LEIGH are itching to get stuck into Super League big spenders Wakefield Trinity.
Boosted by Sunday's first class win at Workington, they are now ready to test themselves in this weekend's Silk Cut Challenge Cup fourth round tie at Hilton Park.
"We're ready for the challenge," declared coach Ian Millward.
"Confidence is sky high, especially after our performance at Derwent Park.
"It was a tremendous effort by all 17 players and will leave me with a selection headache or two for Sunday."
Aussie forward Heath Cruickshank will be back after missing the last two games with a recurrence of ankle trouble.
And centre Alan Hadcroft is also expected to have recovered from the calf injury that kept him out at Workington.
The only slight worry for Millward is Alan Cross who quit in the second half at Workington with a back spasm.
"I could have the luxury of having 19 or 20 players from which to select," added Millward.
One player who will not figure is packman Chris Causey who made his debut at Derwent Park after joining Leigh on a month's loan from Warrington on Friday night. Unfortunately, he missed the cup signing deadline.
"Chris is rated highly," said Millward. "But they want him to get some first team experience with a good club. I've seen him on video and he comes highly recommended by coach Darryl Van Der Velde."
Reserve prop Martin Goulding has joined Lancashire Lynx.
