BIG Issue sellers in Blackburn and Burnley will soon be wearing hats declaring: "Don't litter my home."
The initiative was prompted by a vendor's poem sent to the Tidy Britain Group, which pointed out to the public that every time they dropped litter, they were messing up his home.
The lads and lasses who sell the magazine locally will campaign for the next three weeks to "keep Blackburn and Burnley tidy".
Vendors have told the Tidy Britain Group that they are disgusted with the amount of litter found on streets.
