A POST mortem examination has failed to discover what caused the death of a young man who collapsed at work.
Christopher Nolan, 24, of Grindlestone Hirst, Colne, was discovered by workmates at Graham Engineering, Edward Street, Nelson, at 4.30pm on Thursday.
He had been working alone welding metal.
Christopher was treated by paramedics but died on the way to Burnley General Hospital.
Samples have been sent for further tests to try and establish the cause of death which is not being treated as suspicious.
Mr Nolan was single and had worked at the engineering firm for two years. His father, Peter, also works at the firm.
East Lancashire coroner David Smith has been informed.
