POTTER Denise Steele made a rewarding journey to Rossendale to show off her work to eager buyers.
Denise, 28, travelled from her home town of Stoke-on-Trent to Holden Wood Antiques, Grane Road, Haslingden, on Saturday to sign and sell her range of 1930s-style pottery.
Jazz-Art Deco, which is based at the antiques centre, is one of only half a dozen outlets across the country which sells Denise's work.
Mark Thomson, of Jazz-Art, said: "We're very fortunate to turn on to Denise's work at this time. Items from the 1930s are very fashionable."
Denise, who only went into business 18 months ago, added: "I don't supply that many outlets because I do all the work myself, including the painting, and every item is hand-made and a limited edition. Most of the things I do are from original moulds."
It was her first visit to Haslingden but the day paid dividends.
"I hoped to sell 10 items but I managed to overshoot that figure," she said.
10-year-old Lauren Corless, of Waterfoot, is pictured having her salt and pepper pots signed by Denise.
