NOMINATIONS are now being taken for the Stroke Association's Life After Stroke awards, which recognise the extraordinary courage shown by people of all ages who have had a stroke and also those who care for them.
There are seven categories, including an award for carers, an art award and one for children who have had a stroke. All those nominated receive a certificate of recognition and the winners of each category will attend the award ceremony lunch in London on July 5, which is supported by a host of celebrities.
The closing day for nominations is March 31 and the forms are available from the Stroke Association's Northampton Resource Centre on 01604 623934/5.
