AROUND 50 guests enjoyed a Valentine and wine party to help the Mayoress of Burnley's charity fund.
John and Laura Dowding had a full house at their home in Bancroft Court, Padiham, on Saturday for an event organised by their daughter, Victoria.
The night raised £300 for Mayoress Pat Chadwick's charity fund.
"We have a party each year to raise money for various charities and this year Victoria suggested we do something a little different and have it on a Valentine theme," explained Mrs Dowding.
