A PENSIONER was left badly shaken after a robbery at his home.
The victim, who lives in St Leger Court, Accrington, answered a knock on his door and was confronted by a man who forced his way in. The pensioner's wallet, which contained sentimental photographs and jewellery as well as cash, was stolen in the robbery on Saturday afternoon.
Detectives were due to speak to the victim again today to get a description of the attacker. A spokesman for Accrington CID said: "This was a disturbing pre-meditated attack. The victim was very shaken up."
