AEROSPACE workers are celebrating a top accolade.
Sister companies Brookhouse Patterns and Brookhouse Composites of Darwen, have been presented with a bronze award in the Supply Excellence Programme run by BAE Systems.
The scheme aims to reward supplier firms for their quality and service. BAE Systems relies on suppliers to provide around 70 per cent of its manufacturing output..
The award was received by Peter and Barry Turner, joint managing director of Brookhouse Holdings and Dennis Walmsley, senior quality manager, at a dinner held at the De Vere Hotel in Blackpool.
Brookhouse Patterns specialises in the design and manufacture of tools and Brookhouse Composites manufactures and repairs composite components.
