ELVIS is alive and well and appearing in Walton-le-Dale High School's pantomime this week.
Pupils aged 11 to 14 premiered their show "Jack - The Musical" for children from nearby primary schools yesterday afternoon.
Some of the cast are pictured. Jack was played by 14-year-old Vicky Nightingale while his mum was played by Carl Nuttall, also 14, and his dad, Elvis, was 15-year-old Paul Preston.
Producer and music teacher Sue Hunt said the show included songs in every style from Scottish country music to American black gospel.
Some tickets are still available for the evening performances tonight and tomorrow by calling the school on 01772 335726.
