A CONFERENCE for people from Lancashire who have learning disabilities was held at Bamber Bridge.
The event was one of a series of conferences aimed at giving users of the county council's services the opportunity to put forward their views and make suggestions to managers and county council members. Lancashire County Council social services committee vice chairman Coun Nora Ward said: "This follows on from a successful event last year where representatives of our day centres for disabled people got together to discuss service issues.
"This time it was the turn of people with learning disabilities and again we had a very productive and interesting day.
"By inviting representatives from all our day centres we can get a picture of how services are performing right across Lancashire.
"It also gives us the opportunity to ask service users for their views on how services should be delivered in the future."
