GENEROUS pupils raised money for a cause close to their principal's heart.
Youngsters at Oakhill College, Whalley, collected £500 for the charity Get Kids Going.
Principal Phil Mahon's nephew David Alcock, who competed in the Leyland Marathon in his wheelchair, went along to the school to collect the cheque for the charity.
David is pictured with head boy Scott Stephenson, governors' chairman Tony Baron and head girl Victoria Harrison.
The pupils raised the money by holding two collections and a raffle in school.
