PRESTON College Hockey team have beaten all the other colleges in the North West to make it to the national finals of the British College Championships in March.
They face seven other teams from around the UK in their quest to become national champions.
The team reached the quarter finals of the Basic Cup Competition after beating Newman College 2-1 earlier this week.
The team's coach, Jude Barton, said: "They are playing really well this year. They are using the new sports centre at the college to train and it seems to be doing the trick.
"The calibre of Preston College's team is second to none."
Preston have beaten a number of North West colleges, including Runshaw and Cardinal Newman.
Two players in the team, Kim Sharples and Joy Howe (both pictured), have both been selected to play for the British Colleges team.
Joy also represented Lancashire at Silkworth last weekend.
