PUPILS from Savick Primary were tripping the write fantastic at a new Harris exhibition.
A collaboration between the Harris Museum and Art Gallery and the Preston school, Year 5 children have been curators at th Write Fantastic exhibition.
It gave the youngsters chance to look at artwork and artefacts from the Harris' permanent collections, and contribute items to the new exhibition.
The theme of the show is The Fantastic and the Strange and it includes paintings, drawings and prints, as well as glass, ceramics and textiles.
Lisa Watson, education officer at the Harris, said: "The students' written work, plus their teacher's notes, will be published on-line, as part of the Cumbria and Lancashire Education On Line (CLEO) website."
Advisory teachers from Lancashire County Council have endorsed the exhibition as suitable for Key Stage 2 English and art and design projects, and have written an introduction in the exhibition's teachers' pack.

Write Fantastic is open February 12 to March 31, Monday to Saturday, 10am-noon and 1-3pm.
