Blackburn Hawks 6 Whitley Bay 2 ; Bradford Bulldogs 4 Blackburn Hawks 12
HAWKS kept up their run of good form with an impressive double victory against a mixed standard of opposition.
Saturday saw Bobby Haig's side pick up a good Border League win at the Arena, a 6-2 victory over high-flying Whitley Bay delighting the home crowd.
Then came Sunday's English League Division One (North) trip to Bradford, who Hawks managed to beat 21-2 at the Arena earlier this season.
However, the score was slightly less emphatic this time around, Haig's men recording a 12-4 victory.
