NOW in their sixth year, my 'Swim for Life Channel Challenges' continue to become more popular as swimmers not only improve their health and fitness, but raise funds for our main beneficiary in 2000 - the Imperial Cancer Research Fund.
Don't worry - you don't swim in the freezing waters of the English Channel, but in the warmth of your local pool.
The event runs all year. On each visit to the pool you simply log the distance you swim. There are several targets to aim for, starting at 22 miles up to the 220-mile challenge.
For more information call 01382 451146 or pick up an entry form at your local pool.
