ADVICE on how best to trace ancestors is being given out by members of the Lancashire Family History and Heraldry Society at Sunnyhurst Wood Visitor Centre as part of an exhibition.
The display features hints on how people can find out more about their family tree.
Every Sunday until March 26 members of the group will be available to help visitors. They also have a copy of the 1881 census for Lancashire.
The centre is open between 1pm and 4.30pm on Tuesdays, Thursdays, Saturdays and Sundays. Admission is free.
Pictured at one of the family history events are, from the left, Jim Mingay, David Compsty, Marion Compsty, Marion Almond and George Almond.
