CHARITIES across East Lancashire have been given the chance to roar into top gear thanks to cash boosts given to them by bikers from the area.
More than £8,000 was handed out to several charities from the proceeds of the Rossendale Bike Show. More than 30,000 attended the event at which special guest stars included Steve Berry from the BBC's Top Gear, Classic Racing star John Cronshaw and Coronation Street's Tyrone Dobbs - actor Alan Halsall. The presentation event was held at The Glory pub, Burnley Road, Crawshawbooth.
