Division Two: Bury 0 Cambridge United 2
BURY'S lowest crowd of the season witnessed a performance in which the Shakers looked more likely relegation fodder than their opponents, who quite deservedly took all three points from a game which they completely dominated.
Second half goals from John Taylor and Scott Eustace sealed Bury's fate and the damage would have been much worse but for some fine saves from keeper Paddy Kenny.
Manager Andy Preece was furious and said: "That was absolutely desperate, we were garbage. We were never at the races. Everybody through the whole team, myself included, has to look at themselves in the mirror and ask questions.
"It was disgusting, all outfield places are up for grabs on Saturday, there will be changes because I am not putting up with that. I've told the lads, I'm just not standing for it."
The fans have paid hard earned money to watch that and I undersand their reaction. We didn't play, every 50/50 we lost, anything that dropped we didn't pick up, every time we had a chance to shoot we turned it down, every time they went on the attack they looked like scoring, we just didn't have any shape, I could go on all night. We need to sort it out and we will do, I'll make sure there are brave hearts out there, if I make 10 changes for saturday, no one left out could complain."
