CARR Mill station stood in Woodlands Road at Laffak.
The entrance was on the left as you approached the railway bridge. Of course, Laffak was a thriving community in those days with its own school.
By the way, could anyone explain why the new station being built at Marshalls Cross is to be called Lea Green? Shouldn't the name reflect the area the station is in?
