SINCE being elected as MP for St Helens North, it appears that Dave Watts, (along with his government) think that the public believe everything they say.
Liberal Democrats and staff at nearly every Post Office in St Helens are collecting signatures, against government proposals to have pensions etc., paid directly into bank accounts. If this were to go ahead, then some Post Offices could lose 80 per cent of their business, resulting in closure.
This is what the Post Office union members are saying.
Mr Watts, when a councillor, used to accuse the former Tory Government of being out of touch. Yet, this Labour Government (which has 75 spin doctors) have ignored, and continue to ignore, the very people who elected them.
NHS crisis, insulting OAPs with pension rises and now the whitewash over the Post Offices, need I say more?
Sorry, Mr Watts, we don't buy the hype. Tony Blair is the best leader the Tories have ever had.
COUNCILLOR John Beirne, Blackdown Grove, Parr.
