THE former parishes of Atherton and Hindsford have now been merged into one completely new parish.
Since the order of the Queen in Council on November 1 last year the old electoral rolls of both parishes are no longer valid.
As names of parishioners are not automatically transferred it is necessary for individuals to make a fresh application if they wish to have their names entered onto the current church electoral roll.
The deadline, February 27, is approaching fast and some parishioners still haven't registered.
Anyone who lives in the parish and is a regular worshipper at St Anne's, St George's, St Philip's or St John's can get an application form by phoning 01942 791722.
The new electoral roll will be formally presented to the annual parochial meeting on March 15.
